Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (Advanced Nurse Practitioner) to work in support of Sandia National Laboratories located at 1515 Eubank Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87123. The selected candidate will perform diagnosis, treatment and clinical management of occupational or non-occupational injuries and illnesses, perform pre-placement, termination exams and contribute to coordination of care with case managers and benefits consultants.

Schedule: 9 hours/day, Monday-Thursday, onsite. 4 hours/day, Sunday, telemedicine. Training will be 8 hours/day, 5 days/week onsite, until trained.

Responsibilities
  • Interprets and administers diagnostic tests
  • Prescribes medications
  • Makes independent health care assessments and referrals
  • Possesses knowledge of and experience with general medicine and medical practice and experience with patient advocacy including protection of patient health information and wellness center/health promotion principles, programs, and practices
  • Experienced with conducting research, investigating alternative solutions, and recommending solutions on problems affecting medicine
  • Maintains skills to conceptualize and communicate to all levels of personnel preparation and presentation of medicine technical and non-technical reports

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved program with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or advanced certification
  • Current respective state licensure
  • Active corresponding Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in an Emergency Room, Urgent Care, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine healthcare setting
