Prospect Health are delighted to be partnered with a fun, quirky and super supportive practice in stunning San Luis Obispo, California. They are seeking an experienced DVM with a combination of excellence and humility, confidence, and a sense of humor to find their fur-ever home by the beach!
On the Central California Coast, San Luis Obispo is long celebrated as one of the Happiest Places in America (According to Oprah!) its warm Mediterranean climate and friendly folks welcome you to a more relaxed pace of life!
They are fear free, cat friendly & AAHA accredited Small Animal Hospital who strive for absolute excellence through education and example with an emphasis on the human-animal bond and quality of life issues.
They provide an environment for you to practice truly high- quality veterinary medicine as part of a genuinely fun and supportive team! Their focus is on a healthy and collaborative culture over profitability and they will take your ideas on board too! Their team members are supported as individuals with true camaraderie and continuing education. They take medicine seriously but believe life is to be enjoyed and experienced with a sense of humor.
They are based in a 10k sq ft facility with ultra-modern facilities and a fantastic number of support staff to enable you to provide the best care possible.
The level of General Medicine in the practice is outstanding, they refer a limited number of patients, usually for orthopaedics. All dentistry, dermatology and diagnostics are performed on site.
This is an affluent area so be prepared to meet patients with celebrity parents!!

* Flexible working pattern (8 hour shifts) No OOH required!!!
* Negotiable base salary + commission - sliding scale of 19-23% based on production per day not per patient!!
* 5k per annum CE allowance
