Overview:
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction.We are currently seeking a full-timeInfection Control Nurse to join our team at Debra K. Johnson Rehabilitation Center located in Nashville, Tennessee

Responsibilities:
The Infection Control Nurse is responsible for performing a variety of duties involving the prevention and control of infectious diseases. The Infection Control Nurse will coordinate the collecting, interpreting, and reporting of data, assist in the development of care plans for patients with infectious diseases, and will serve as a consultant to nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding care, tracking, and reporting of patients identified with infectious disease.

Qualifications:
Must hold valid RN license in applicable state, CIC (certification in infection control) preferred 1 to 3 years experience providing nursing care in a public health environment, long term care or acute care setting with focus on infection prevention and control Must show current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR certification Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable Experience in correctional environment preferred Experience working with a high degree of autonomy required

Available Shift:
Day Shift 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
