VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital is seeking credentialed veterinary technicians to join our team in our General Practice. Our technicians are responsible for the technical duties, client communication and patient care related to their role and department.

    • Hands-on learning, didactic training, and collaboration on case management and treatment to provide the highest quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • All tasks related to general practice; you see cases with one DVM each day so you're able to provide efficient thoughtful care to each patient.
  • Think analytically through disease process and patient needs.
  • Inspire and teach students and new associates.
  • Ensure documentation is appropriate, thorough, and complete.

Qualifications:
  • Experienced, credentialed technicians are preferred, but we are happy to train the right new grad!
  • Pay based on experience and credentials $20-$24/hr
