Physician - Neurology - Faculty Neurologist - Multiple Sclerosis

The Department of Neurology at the University of Minnesota and UMPhysicians seeks a full-time Multiple Sclerosis Neurologist for MHealth Fairview (University of Minnesota Physicians/Fairview Health Services Partnership) to expand our growing program. Responsibilities will include outpatient care in busy MS clinics, inpatient general neurology service, and teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows. Opportunities are available for research-related activity such as performing clinical trials or preparing scholarly publications.is recruiting a full-time neurologist for MHealth Fairview

Practice Details:

• As part of a multi-disciplinary team, this position will provide MS services on the University campus and community clinics.
• Limited inpatient call coverage is expected.
• Opportunities to supervise and train medical students, residents and fellows.
• Opportunity to collaborate with innovative neuroscience physicians and researchers on clinical trial research and other academic activities

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Neurology residency training program and Board Certified or Board Prepared with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association
• Completion of a MS Fellowship Program.
• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
• Ability to obtain and / or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
• Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills
