Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive "whole health" services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social determinants of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.
Position Summary
This position will provide behavioral health care services and medication management to adults in an outpatient setting, and perform as an independent and interdependent member of the medical services team. Duties include, but are not limited to, physical assessments, medical evaluations, prescribing and/or monitoring medications accroding to appropriate diagnoses, symptoms and guidelines, ordering appropriate laboratory tests, reviewing results and making necessary adjustments, administering injections, etc.
This position demands a high level of safety awareness and teaching skills. Knowledge and experience of DSM and crisis & emergency interventions are needed.
Education/Experience/Requirements
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school
Must be recognized as a Registered Nurse (RN) with Prescriptive Authority by the State of Indiana
Must have a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate and State of Indiana Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
Must have ANCC or other certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
