Registered Nurse - Harmony Surgery Center

Summary:
Carries out routine patient care assignments and performs established nursing procedures utilizing population-specific guidelines.

Work Schedule:

• PRN, No guaranteed days or hours
• Days and hours may vary, Monday - Friday, No holidays, No weekends
• Day shift
• Non-exempt (hourly)

Responsibilities:

• Provides direct patient care according to nursing and medical plan of care and within scope of practice, using population-specific guidelines.
• Involves patient and family or significant others in plan of care. Collaborates with other health care team members.
• Documents plan of care provided per established guidelines.
• Identifies and implements opportunities for practice changes based on evidence-based nursing literature and research.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: Graduate of nursing program: Diploma, ADN, BSN or MSN.
  
• Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
  

Preferred:

• 1 year nursing experience.

This position's pay rate is a flat rate of $37.66/hr.




An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
