Position Summary:
Manages staff and/or resources of the Nursing program to provide specific program or service offerings to internal or external stakeholders. Generally responsible for developing and administering all levels of a credit program. Develops policies/procedures for operation of the program. Responsible for program success through marketing and enrollment. Fully responsible for budget planning and resource allocation for area. Directs all aspects of the LVN & ADN programs, including the admission, orientation, advising, progression, graduation and, when necessary, the probation, appeal and dismissal of students.

Job Functions:
Provides leadership and direction through Managers and Senior Managers.
Is accountable for the performance and results of related disciplines or a medium-sized function in a large department.
Adapts and executes functional or departmental business plans and contributes to the development of functional or departmental strategies.
Makes decisions based on functional strategies and priorities.
Has input for employee hiring, training, and incentives.
Resolves issues with significant impacts which are department wide.
Works with little supervision from others.
Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned.

Salary:
$63,976 annually plus an annual stipend of $12,000

Required:
Master’s degree in Nursing
At least 5 years of non-teaching work experience in the field
Must have a minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a professional nursing education program
Current unencumbered Texas R.N. license by application review date
