The Department of Radiology at The University of Kansas Health System (UKHS), is seeking an ABR certified or eligible subspecialty interventional radiology physician to join our exceptionally talented and dedicated faculty. The position has significant teaching and clinical research responsibilities. The Department has a very busy interventional radiology practice that encompasses all aspects of vascular and non-vascular interventions.

Kansas City – We are seeking an experienced hematologist/oncologist with a focus in blood and marrow transplant to join the Division of Hematologic Malignancies and Cellular Therapeutics team as an assistant or associate professor.  We are the region’s largest BMT & acute leukemia program, and part of the region’s largest comprehensive cancer center.

The BMT clinical service is experiencing significant growth performing greater than 300 transplants annually. The program operates a state-of-the-art, outpatient care facility, therapeutic blood treatment/apheresis center and dedicated 49-bed inpatient unit.  We provide a rich environment for clinical investigation with scientific programs and initiatives.

Qualifications: M.D.; completed an ACGME accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship, and board certified or eligible in Hematology. We prefer candidates who have completed a BMT fellowship program or commensurate training. Ideal candidates will be interested in clinical or translational research and clinical trial development, as well as have expertise in high-dose chemotherapy and management of patients undergoing autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies.

Essential functions include: providing medical care for both outpatient clinic and hospitalized patients; contributes to various research, educational and clinical initiatives related to areas of individual interest and expertise; serves in a clinician educator role with responsibility for education of housestaff.
