Assistant/Associate

Professor Academic Vascular Surgeon

The Department of Surgery at the University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking an academic vascular surgeon to join the Division of Vascular Surgery.  This physician would join five Vascular Surgeons with busy established practice.

The successful candidate must be BC/BE Vascular Surgeon, be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Vermont, and eligible to work in the United States.  The candidate must have demonstrated interest and ability in teaching and research. UVMMC partners with Larner College of Medicine at UVM and has established General Surgery residency program as well as certified Vascular Surgery fellowship.

This is a full-time, 12-month salaried faculty appointment in the Clinical Scholar Pathway at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and carries with it attending staff privileges at University of Vermont Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center that serves as a tertiary care facility serving Vermont and northern New York State.  Salary is competitive and commensurate with ability and experience.
