Currently recruiting a full-time day/night Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiovascular Operating Room in Charleston, South Carolina, to work in a large regional medical center recognized for several specialties to include cardiovascular, neurosciences, and critical care. About the Department:
2 room CVOR unit. 1-2 CVOR procedures per day.RN s in the unit will benefit from a culture of nursing autonomy as well as nursing protocols to initiate treatment on patients quickly. Teamwork heavily focused to promote better patient management and high quality of care.
Job Responsibilities of the CVOR RN:

Demonstrates accountability for essential clinical knowledge to positively affect patient outcomes within the scope of nursing practice while assessing, planning, intervening and evaluating care.Demonstrates strong and accurate clinical judgment and competent or expert nursing skills while following established policies including those related to confidentiality (written, verbal, electronic and digital).Timely collaborates with the healthcare team to report critical information or change in condition.Promotes comfort and prevents suffering through presence and attentiveness. Demonstrates timely pain assessment and reassessment.Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care for an effective and current plan of care.Assist in emergency procedures as well as elective.Serve as the liaison between the surgical team and the patient' s family. Weekly call at $5 per hour.
Qualifications and Education for the CVOR RN:

Graduate of an accredited school or professional nursing.Currently licensed as an RN in South Carolina or a compact license.BLS healthcare provider.Preferred - 1 year of perioperative nursing experience.
Compensation and Benefits for the CVOR RN:

Salary: $27.00-$37.00, depends on experience. Sign on bonus/relo up to $10k. Shift diff of $4.00 for nights, $3.00 for weekend day. Matching 401(k) contributions ranging from 3-9%.PTO starting at 4 weeks per year.Tuition reimbursement of up to $5, 250 per year. Low cost medical, dental, life, and vision options.
