The Regional Quality Director of Physician Practices responsibility is to support practices in implementing structures and processes in alignment with Value Based, patient focused care models to reach the highest achievement possible. This role is accountable for collection and analysis of data in order to assist each market in meeting individual metrics for every program. The Regional Quality Director will interface independently with senior leaders and will work with practices to make meaningful changes designed to improve patients outcomes. The RQD will assist providers and quality improvement teams with development of the skills necessary to adapt clinical evidence to the specific circumstances of their practice environment and will promote a culture of learning and Quality Improvement within practices and set the stage for continuous quality improvement.
Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Preferred - Bachelors degree in Business, Health Sciences, Healthcare Administration or related discipline preferred.
Experience:
Required - Five (5) years related healthcare experience with project management, operations and development experience in a large healthcare setting; and Five (5) years experience in data analysis, systems development or other related experience.
Skills:
Acting with integrity, analyzing and interpreting data, computer literacy, gathering needed information, delegating and supporting teams, evaluating decisions/solutions, improving work process, making effective decisions. Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills. Measuring customer service and meeting customer needs. Partnering with customers/others, promoting NWHC mission, vision and values. Utilizing communication channels and valuing diversity.
Licenses/Certifications:
Preferred - Clinical certification such as Certified Medical Assistant, LPN or RN.
