The Cleveland Clinic, a distinguished academic healthcare system, announces its search for Chair of the OB/GYN & Women’s Health Institute.

Cleveland Clinic’s OB/GYN & Women’s Health Institute was again ranked No.5 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, and is the top-ranked program in Ohio.

The Institute has 135 employed physicians, a large midwifery program, and over 360 non-physician support staff. In 2018 the Institute anticipates close to 400,000 patient visits, more than 10,000 deliveries and over 7,000 surgeries distributed over 36 sites, 3 main tertiary care hospitals with Level 3 NICUs and 4 secondary hospitals.

The institute’s staff participates in resident, fellow, and medical student education and the unique residency training program offers tracking into subspecialty areas. Fellowships are offered in multiple sub-specialties. The Global Health Research program encourages residents and fellows to participate in research.

The ideal candidate will be a recognized leader in Women’s Health with a record of excellence in clinical support activities, education, and scholarship as well as experience in leadership, administration, mentoring, and program development. The Chair will report directly to the Cleveland Clinic Chief of Staff and will support the strategic mission of the Cleveland Clinic Health System.
