Medical Scientist Position Available:
Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is recruiting for a Medical Scientist position in its Imaging Clinical Effectiveness and Outcomes Research (iCEOR) program. The Medical Scientist position would be primarily responsible for performing original experimental studies in clinical effectiveness and outcomes research relating to imaging, specifically as it pertains to investigative research and/or development work in the field of breast and oncologic imaging, under the guidance of a Senior Investigator or Associate Investigator. This position may also include additional responsibilities in medically-related activities according to Institutional policies.

Requirements include an M.D. degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine, completion of Radiology residency in an accredited College of Medicine, currently licensed as a physician in the State of New York with board certification in Diagnostic Radiology and subspecialty board certification in Breast and/or Woman’s Imaging. In addition, a Ph.D. degree in science is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating across professional boundaries and ability to work closely with various stakeholders in clinical, administrative and leadership roles.
