Chief of the Division of Rheumatology, Immunology, and Allergy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital
Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking a distinguished physician scientist to serve as Chief and Senior Physician in the Division of Rheumatology, Immunology, and Allergy within the Department of Medicine and with a proposed academic appointment as Associate Professor or Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School commensurate with qualifications.
Applicants should have a proven record of research accomplishments, sufficient training and experience in internal medicine and the subspecialty of rheumatology and/or immunology and allergy to be able to direct the clinical programs of the Division, and have a thoughtful focus on educational and community interests. This individual will have far reaching leadership responsibilities; therefore, he or she must have exemplary administrative, mentoring, and communication acumen not only to lead a large and complex division, but also to engage with institutional, departmental, and divisional leaders, the pan-Harvard community as well as the regional, national, and international communities in the fields of rheumatology, immunology, and allergy.
