The Department of Anesthesiology (http://anes-som.ucsd.edu/) at the University of California San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body seeks Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist and Liver Transplant Anesthesiologist faculty members at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks.

Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist

Candidates must have an MD and be board eligible/certified and Fellowship trained Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist with TEE Certification. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a California Medical License. Candidates must have demonstrated excellence in patient care and clinical teaching.

Liver Transplant Anesthesiologist

Candidates must have an MD and be board-eligible/certified and Fellowship trained Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist with TEE Certification with Liver Transplant experience. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a California Medical License. Candidates must have demonstrated excellence in patient care and clinical teaching.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
