The Department of Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital is accepting applicants for fully funded two- or three-year positions in surgical research for July 2019. Current enrollment in an accredited Surgical Residency program in North-America is required. Trainees will learn the latest scientific methods with established investigators working in a broad range of areas, including: regenerative medicine (tissue engineering and other cell-based therapies), fetal therapy and biology, wound healing, surgical nutrition, short bowel syndrome, transplantation, liver disease, lung development, vascular anomalies and outcomes research. Successful candidates will also be able to participate in select clinical and didactic activities of the Department of Surgery, as well as have access to multiple resources from the adjoining Harvard campus.
