DIVISION DIRECTOR, CRITICAL CARE MEDICINE
HACKENSACK UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER

The Department of Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center is seeking a Division Director of Critical Care. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and transform the division, critical care services at the institution, as well as network-wide initiatives such as an e-ICU program.
The director will be expected to provide leadership, clinical direction and academic growth for the division as well as contribute to the missions of Hackensack University Medical Center, the Hackensack Meridian Health System, and the new Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University. This role encompasses clinical, academic and administrative physician roles for critical care initiatives and operations across the institution related to quality of care, access and efficiency; education and training activities for students, residents and fellows; research activities; and network-wide initiatives. This position reports to the Chair of the Department of Medicine.
The ideal candidate must be board certified in internal medicine and critical care, and have the ability to obtain a New Jersey medical license. In addition, the ideal candidate must have academic accomplishments that would merit the rank of Associate or Professor in the School of Medicine, successful clinical and administrative leadership experience, the ability to collaborate across departments, excellent clinical and teaching skills, proven commitment to supporting research, and mentoring experience.
