The Department of Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a board certified/eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon. The successful candidate must be accomplished in the area of cardiac and thoracic surgery with a special interest and training in heart and lung transplantation.
Candidates must be eligible for Florida state medical license and be BC/BE. Responsibilities include performing complex adult cardiac cases and heart and lung transplantation, as well as clinical and/or basic science research related to the discipline of Cardiothoracic surgery.
Applicants should demonstrate a reputation for clinical and academic excellence in the specialty of Cardiothoracic surgery. The three shields of the Mayo Clinic represent clinical practice, education and research.
