Faculty Positions Available

The Department of Ophthalmology is currently recruiting for two full-time positions: a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist and a Glaucoma Specialist. Glaucoma candidates must have completed an ACGME-approved glaucoma fellowship.  Candidates for both positions must be ABO-board-certified or board-eligible, and able to obtain a Texas medical license.

He or she should have demonstrated excellent clinical and surgical abilities, and possess outstanding interpersonal skills.  The candidates must be committed to teaching, superior patient care, and have some interest in research.  Teaching residents, clinical fellows, and medical students is expected.  Candidates will be joining a busy, diverse group practice where teamwork is valued.  Academic rank and salary are based upon qualifications.
