As the RN Director of Telemetry, you will be part of a quality team offering award-winning programs with responsibilities including:

Providing leadership and support to the CNO with responsibilities for all nursing and other designated patient care functions/services within this busy 28-bed Telemetry Department.
Assisting in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating nursing practice. Direct Reports are shift supervisors, the unit has all private rooms.
Nurse to Patient ratio is 1-5. The role assumes 24/7 responsibility of Director's assigned areas.
Ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Nursing Director of Tele Qualifications

BSN required; Masters preferred
RN with Texas License or eligible
An experienced nursing leader with operational experience leading a large Telemetry unit in an Acute Care hospital environment
Stroke Patient experience is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to nurture and mentor new nurses.
