Responsibilities
Registered Nurse renders professional nursing care to clients within an assigned nursing unit utilizing nursing process and adhering to the unit standard in support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the Medical Center. The RN maintains competency by evidence of clinical practice, clinical workshops, programs or work stations on an annual basis.
Qualifications
Eligible for or current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the State of Rhode Island. BSN required for graduates from an accredited foreign nursing school. PACU experience preferred. Current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS required upon hire.
