The Cardiothoracic Section of the Department of Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a board certified radiologist with fellowship experience in Cardiothoracic imaging who is developing an academic career. Successful candidates should bring strong clinical abilities, enthusiasm, and commitment to MCW’s academic missions.

Practice Highlights

  • The Medical College of Wisconsin is a private medical school with a professional faculty.
  • MCW radiologists provide clinical care at Froedtert Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital West Bend, Community Memorial Hospital, the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, Center for Diagnostic Imaging (which includes multiple outpatient imaging sites), and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
  • The Cardiothoracic Section includes five faculty radiologists.
  • This section is actively involved with pulmonary and critical care medicine, lung cancer group and cardiology with advanced CT and MR imaging techniques.
  • The Department of Radiology supports a one-year fellowship in Cardiothoracic imaging. Fellows participate actively in the clinical and research components of the practice.

Requirements:

  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic imaging.
  • Successful candidates will be expected to have a research interest in the technical and clinical aspects of Cardiothoracic Imaging.
  • Skills in image guided interventional procedures will be valued favorably.
