Clinical Research Fellowship. A one-year research fellowship, with option of a second year, is being offered by the Center for Genetic Muscle Disorders, at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine beginning July 1, 2019. This training fellowship is supported by the NICHD funded, Wellstone Muscular Dystrophy Cooperative Research Center. The fellowship is intended to promote the development of clinical researchers in the field of muscular dystrophy. Activities will include course work in the design and implementation of clinical trials; participation in clinical trials in muscular dystrophy and clinical evaluation of patients with muscle diseases. Potential candidates should have completed a medical residency in the United States in the field of neurology, pediatrics or physical medicine and rehabilitation. Neuromuscular training preferred.
