Psychiatry Physician Job

Harrisonburg Community Health Center (HCHC) is seeking a motivated BE/BC Psychiatrist for a full-time outpatient opportunity working with a skilled team in a multi-specialty clinic. The position includes a 5 day/40 hour work week, including 4 hours of administrative time per week. There are currently no call and no weekend expectations. Additional training or experience with substance abuse and/or trauma is a bonus.

HCHC is an integrated healthcare facility that values collaboration among all of its practitioners/ staff. Provider will also work in partnership with the Harrisonburg Rockingham Community Services Board and other community behavioral health providers to increase access and provide ongoing medication management services. Provider should be mission oriented and interested in a team-based approach to providing the best care to every single patient.

WHO WE ARE:

HCHC is a non-profit, federally qualified health center (FQHC) located in the Shenandoah Valley. The center’s mission is to provide quality affordable healthcare to the diverse communities of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. Services include primary care for pediatrics and adults, dental care, pharmacy services, women’s health, and are expanding their established behavioral health services. HCHC is a patient center medical home, recognized by NCQA. They are one of the few practices in the area that accept Medicaid. For those that are uninsured or under insured, the HCHC offers a sliding fee discount program and a 340b prescription program to ensure access is available to all, including our community’s most vulnerable. HCHC currently has three locations to better serve our community.
