OCULOPLASTICS - ONCOLOGIST

Ochsner Health System in New Orleans is seeking a BC/BE Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in Oculoplastics and experience in Ocular Oncology.  In this position, the physician would be joining a seasoned & busy oculoplastics surgeon in our department which includes medical student and ophthalmology resident teaching responsibilities in the Department of Ophthalmology.  Through our training program affiliations, this position also includes The University of Queensland Medical School in Brisbane, Australia.  Clinical research is encouraged.

The Department of Ophthalmology includes 31 ophthalmologists and optometrists who provide care at our facilities located in the New Orleans, North Shore and Baton Rouge regions. We offer a full range of services for the treatment of advanced eye disease and corrective surgery, providing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for patients of all ages. A premier regional leader in ophthalmic care and education, the department facilitates the training and development of future ophthalmologists, optometrists, and support staff by participation in Ophthalmology residency training, the Ochsner Optometry residency program and the Delgado Ophthalmic Technician Program.
