Department of Surgery
Division of Urology
Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care and service is seeking applicants for a Urologic surgeon in the Division of Urology in the Department of Surgery.
Candidates having a record of excellence in academic surgery with experience in teaching, research and clinical affairs are encouraged to apply for this open-rank position. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible. Fellowship training is optional but preferred. Entry level and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
We offer a busy clinical practice with a growing cancer center. The division currently is comprised of 6 other urologists and has an accredited residency program. Our Urology practice covers St. Louis University Hospital as well as a community hospital in the Clayton district of St. Louis.
Saint Louis University Hospital provides adult Level I trauma services for both Missouri and Illinois. As an academic teaching facility, SLU hospital has 356 beds and 65 ICU beds which has been serving the St. Louis region for over 70 years and is located in the heart of Midtown St. Louis. SSM Health in conjunction with Saint Louis University and SLUCare Physician Group is building a state of the art, 802,000-square-foot, $550,000,000.00 expansion to SLU Hospital with an expected completion date of 2020.
