Assistant, Associate or Full level Professor

A full-time faculty position is available in the Division of Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery, The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Francisco, with joint appointment in the Francis I. Proctor Foundation. This individual will be appointed at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.

This faculty member will provide clinical services in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery, and participate in medical student, resident and fellow education.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must hold an MD or equivalent degree and have a CA license or be eligible for full unrestricted licensure. The candidate must be board certified in ophthalmology (ABO) and have completed fellowship training in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at the time of appointment. Demonstrated teaching competency as well as demonstrated success in clinical or laboratory research are essential, and the candidate is expected to develop or advance an independent, funded research program.
