The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry is conducting a search for a Department Executive Officer in the Department of Oral Pathology, Radiology & Medicine.  This is a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the Associate Professor or Professor level.  The position is available August 1, 2021; screening begins immediately.  Applicants must have:  D.D.S./D.M.D. or equivalent; completion of a CODA-accredited advanced training program in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, or Oral Medicine, or Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology; Master’s degree or higher; Board certification by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, or Oral Medicine, or Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology; 5 or more years of relevant administrative/budget experience; 5 or more years record of effective teaching; record of protocol-driven research and/or scholarly activity; and record of activity fostering a climate that values and engages diversity in all its forms to enliven and make more inclusive the work of the department/College.  Desirable qualifications include:  10 or more years of clinical practice experience; strong research accomplishments with extramural funding; 5 or more years record of mentoring students, residents, and or faculty; demonstrated leadership accomplishments at national and/or international levels; ability to develop new research initiatives; and ability to foster collaborative interactions among faculty from different departments and colleges.  Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Learn more and/or apply at Jobs@UIowa at: https://jobs.uiowa.edu/faculty/view/74117, reference Req #74117
