The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut Health Center, located in Farmington, is recruiting for a tenure track position as Division Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Associate Professor or Professor rank. An endowed professorship is available to support this position. We are searching for an experienced academician with a track record of independent grant support in child and adolescent mental health. Clinical licensure preferred. The successful candidate will lead our growing Child and Adolescent Psychiatry faculty and will contribute to the Research, Clinical and Education missions of the Department.

This is an exciting time to be at the University of Connecticut and in this Department of Psychiatry. The Department has undergone considerable transformation over the past six years, retaining its considerable strength in Addictions while building expertise in Psychopharmacology, Trauma, Psychiatric Genetics, and Geriatric Psychiatry. The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry was established over 12 years ago and currently includes a substantial grant portfolio and a cadre of dedicated clinical child psychiatrists and psychologists, and it hosts a child and adolescent fellowship training program.
