Electrophysiologist

The Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine and UW Medicine Heart Institute at the University of Washington, School of Medicine are recruiting a full-time Electrophysiologist to be primarily based at Northwest Hospital (NWH).  NWH will be one of two campuses comprising the UW Medical Center and offer a full slate of cardiovascular services. The successful candidate should have excellent clinical training in all aspects of electrophysiology and ability to build relationships within the community and take advantage of the outstanding opportunities for collaboration at the University of Washington.

Applicants must have an MD degree (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified in cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology (or foreign equivalent).  In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The successful applicant must qualify for appointment to the full-time (100% FTE) faculty at the University of Washington at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level (without tenure due to funding) commensurate with qualifications.  These are 12-month, multi-year appointments. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. Position will remain open until filled.
