Vacancy Announcement

Our department of Prosthodontics is seeking qualified applicants for the position of clinical assistant professor. This is a clinical-track position in a strong team environment committed to collaboration, integrity and excellence in both academic and clinical instruction and patient care. The department also is committed to professional growth for each of its team members. Teaching responsibilities will include pre- clinical and clinical instruction in prosthodontics.

The successful applicant must have an interest in and teaching experience focused on occlusion. Additional responsibilities include clinical and didactic instruction to advanced education in prosthodontics candidates, competency assessment and development in areas of focus, and contributions to the department's expansion and implementation of discipline-based curriculum. Generation of scholarly activity as well as engagement in university service at the department, school and university levels, including participation in departmental and school governance is expected. Faculty practice and other revenue-generating opportunities will be considered for eligible candidates. This position also contains the potential for future leadership/administrative opportunities.

Minimum qualifications include completion of a DDS/DMD or equivalent dental degree, completion of a Master's Degree or a certificate in Prosthodontics from a program accredited by the Commission of Dental Accreditation, and eligibility for Indiana dental licensure. Completion of an Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics is strongly preferred. Rank and salary will be based on the applicant's credentials and experience.
