On Call Generalist Attending

We are seeking to hire two (2) new 1.0 FTE attendings at the Assistant Professor level. As a member of the University Medical Group, the faculty practice plan of the School of Medicine, responsibilities will primarily involve building a practice to provide clinical care in General Obstetrician and Gynecology. Training in minimally invasive surgery and robotics is desirable, but not mandatory. There is an opportunity for research depending on the applicant's background and interest.

Additional duties involve teaching and precepting residents, fellows, and medical students, providing CME lectures to community-based physicians and serving on hospital or medical school committees assigned by the department chairman. Responsibilities may change as the needs and mission of the medical school, hospital and department change.

Qualifications:

• Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology by ABOG
• Valid State of Connecticut medical license and drug license.
• Valid Federal DEA license.
• Training in minimally invasive surgery and robotics is desirable, but not mandatory.
