Cardiology Faculty Positions

New Orleans, Louisiana – The Tulane University School of Medicine’s Heart & Vascular Institute/Section of Cardiology is recruiting board certified/eligible cardiologists to help expand our academic and clinical cardiovascular services. These positions will be responsible for the instruction of cardiology fellows (currently 24 fellows) and for patient care at three hospitals and multiple clinic sites in the Greater Metropolitan New Orleans area.

Cardiac Electrophysiology

Clinical/academic EP to join busy program, utilizing state-of-the art facilities, with strong mid-level support and dedicated EP fellow. Mid or senior level academic electrophysiologist preferred.

Interventional/Structural

Interventionalist with training/experience in structural heart disease, including TAVR, mitral intervention and PFO closure experience preferred. Outstanding state-of-the art labs in all facilities and with active interventional fellowship program.

Advanced Imaging

Multimodality imaging with extensive training in cardiac CT and MR preferred. Advanced echocardiography and nuclear cardiology experience is also desirable.

Heart Failure

Advanced heart failure expertise, to assist in various clinical and research programs. Longstanding program featuring inotropic therapy and currently developing ECMO and DT VAD program.
