Intensivist/ Neurointensivist opportunity in an expanding heath network

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a BC/BE, fellowship trained intensivist /neurointensivist to join a well-established multispecialty group of critical care physicians. This position will be at the main university campus which is a comprehensive stroke center and level 1 trauma center.  We welcome inquiries from critical care specialists who are pursuing certification in neurocritical or a neurocritical care trained intensivist who has experience in managing a diverse population including medical, surgical and cardiac critical care patients. You would serve as the leader of a multidisciplinary rounding team including students, residents, advanced practitioners, critical care pharmacists, respiratory therapists, & critical care nurses. Care is coordinated with the full spectrum of specialists.

Educational Opportunities:

Intensivist for the critical care service participate as educators and faculty for established fellowships in surgical critical care and pulmonary critical care with the goal of developing a neurocritical care fellowship. This position involves teaching residents from multiple programs including internal medicine, emergency medicine, family medicine and neurology. SLUHN has a 4 year medical school in association with Temple University with opportunity for faculty appointment. Scholarly activity is encouraged and supported.
