Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Opportunity

The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, is seeking a vascular surgeon to join the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy.
Ideal candidates will have completed an advanced fellowship in vascular surgery and have at least 3-5 years of clinical practice experience. The division has a robust clinical program that includes nine full-time faculty surgeons working across the Texas Medical Center and at Baylor-affiliated institutions including Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, part of CHI St. Luke’s Health, and the Texas Heart Institute, the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Ben Taub Hospital, and Texas Children’s Hospital. Opportunities for potential leadership roles in clinical, administrative, vascular lab, quality and outreach activities of the division with our partnership with Catholic Health Initiatives – a 100-hospital, not-for-profit network partner with the Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, will also be afforded to the individual chosen for this position.
The successful candidate will have a particular interest and expertise in both open and endovascular surgery with clearly demonstrated skills in clinical patient care, education and research. ABS board certification or board eligibility is required and the candidate must qualify for a full and unrestricted Texas medical license. Rank and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications.
