The Divisions of Critical Care, Pulmonary and Sleep medicine in the department of Medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston is seeking applicants for full-time faculty positions. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Critical Care and/or Pulmonary and/or Sleep Medicine and be eligible for licensure in state of Texas. Candidates with strong clinical skills with excellent communications skills will be most successful.

The division manages a multidisciplinary intensivists program at a 900-bed level 1 trauma center and a 300 bed county level 3 trauma center. Inpatient services involve management of over 100 critical care beds in medical critical care, cardiac critical care and transplant critical care, which provide an excellent opportunity for teaching, participation in clinical research and caring for diverse patient population. Division comprises of 25 Faculty members and supports 19 fellow Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship program.
