Endodontics Assistant/Associate Professor Clinical

The College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University seeking applicants for a full-time clinical track faculty member at the rank of assistant or associate professor in the Division of Endodontics. The primary responsibilities for this position will be contributing to didactic and clinical instruction in the predoctoral and graduate programs of the division. Other duties include supporting the overall mission of the division, practicing in the college’s intramural/ extramural Dental Faculty Practice, participating in university and college governance, and contributing to the college’s continuing education program.

The Division of Endodontics is recognized for its excellence in teaching, research, and professional service. With three Board Certified fulltime faculty and twelve part-time faculty members, the division offers a vibrant environment for endodontic instruction at all levels.

Demonstrated state and national leadership by the endodontics faculty influences the development of the specialty within the academic and practice communities. And, the division’s international reputation in dental pain management provides opportunities for students, residents, and faculty to engage in clinically relevant research.

Candidates must have a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree and completion of a CODA-accredited advanced education program in endodontics. They also must be eligible for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board. Information on state dental licensure is available at www.dental.ohio.gov/licensinginfo.stm. Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Endodontics is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in dental education and an MS, PhD, EdD, or other advanced degree.
