Research Assistant Professor in Dermatology

The Department of Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of clinical epidemiology or related discipline and have excellent qualifications in research. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in clinical research methods such as development and validation of instruments that measure subjective and objective disease activity and diagnostic tests, longitudinal analyses, molecular epidemiology, qualitative research, health services research, administrative claims or electronic medical record data, and/or comparative effectiveness research methods. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative and able to lead efforts for obtaining extramural funding from federal agencies, institutes, foundations, and industry sponsors.
