The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine is accepting applications for a full-time Program Director of the CODA-accredited Advanced Education Program in Orthodontics. An opportunity exists for a clinical or tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate rank depending on qualifications and experience.
Position responsibilities include:
• Program administration
• Didactic and clinical teaching to post-graduate residents and predoctoral students
• Development of scholarly activities
The successful candidate may participate in the faculty practice.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualified candidates must hold a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree, be certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, and be eligible for licensure in New York State. Candidates must have at least 2 years experience teaching post-graduate residents, and a record of scholarly activity.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced credentials such as an MS or PhD are preferred, as well as prior leadership in post-graduate programs. Participation in national and international professional and scientific organizations is desired.
