Preparing for a Career Break

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center has experienced substantial growth, with coverage spanning a large geographical region in and around the metopolitan Houston area and serving a population of over seven million people. The Department of Intervential Radiology is seeking candidates for a clinical faculty appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or higher. The final rank of this appointment will be commensurate with the final candidates' qualifications. The department's clinical practice encompasses a broad scope of image-guided interventions and therapies with a particular focus in oncology. This position would have an academic appointment with the Department of Interventional Radiology.

 

 

Qualified applicants must be certified by the American Board of Radiology and CAQ certified (or eligible if a recent graduate) in Interventional Radiology and have certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Applicants should also have at least 5 years post degree with any combination of time as a clinican, clinical scientist or GME trainee.
