The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center has experienced substantial growth, with coverage spanning a large geographical region in and around the metopolitan Houston area and serving a population of over seven million people. The Department of Intervential Radiology is seeking candidates for a clinical faculty appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or higher. The final rank of this appointment will be commensurate with the final candidates' qualifications. The department's clinical practice encompasses a broad scope of image-guided interventions and therapies with a particular focus in oncology. This position would have an academic appointment with the Department of Interventional Radiology, practicing primarily at one or more MD Anderson Houston Area Locations while remaining an integrated member of the department. This individual will become part of a multidisciplinary team including medical and radiation oncologists, dedicated to excellence in cancer care.  In addition to superb practice skills, our ideal candidate would possess strong leadership, vision, and people skills essential to building a successful clinical practice in the Houston community.

Qualified applicants must be certified by the American Board of Radiology and CAQ certified (or eligible if a recent graduate) in Interventional Radiology and have certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).  Applicant will have at least five years post degree with any combination of time as a clinician, clinical scientist, or GME trainee. The ideal candidate must have the mobility and willingness to work at any MD Anderson Houston Area Location across the metropolitan area.
