The Hargreaves lab is focused on understanding the role of the SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complex in inflammation and myeloid biology using a combination of biochemical and next-generation sequencing methodologies in mouse models.

We are currently seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows interested in epigenetic control of inflammation. The goal of these studies is to understand how SWI/SNF complex variants cooperate in the control of inflammatory responses by studying the function of canonical BAF and PBAF complexes, as well as the GBAF complex, newly discovered by our lab. The study will involve performing epigenomic and transcriptomic analyses in cells and tissues lacking specific BAF complex components following inflammatory stimulation. The position requires a strong background in transcriptional regulation, epigenetics, and bioinformatics. Experience in molecular biology and biochemistry is beneficial. A successful candidate will be trained in specific technologies and methods required for the project.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. or M.D. and experience in Epigenetics/Transcription with interest in innate immune regulation.
Experience in RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, biochemistry, molecular biology, and next-generation sequencing analysis is beneficial.
Applicants should send curriculum vitae, statement of research interests and experience, and contact information for three references to:
