The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Michigan Medical School seeks applications from board certified Maternal Fetal Medicine - Obstetrician/Gynecologists, to serve as the Director of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Division.  This full-time faculty position will be at the Associate Professor or Professor level depending on the qualifications of the candidate.  The department is seeking a highly innovative and visionary leader to advance the clinical, research, and education missions of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Program in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In addition to clinical work, a successful Maternal Fetal Medicine Director will create and establish a unifying vision for the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, and promote high-quality, patient-centered, efficient and equitable care. The Director will ensure the success of the MFM Fellowship, support the Birth Center, and further high-risk OB education and programs across the institution. The Director will lead the recruitment, retention and development of faculty and staff to achieve the program’s vision.  A successful candidate will advance and strengthen individual and team research, and enhance financial stability through management, research funding, and philanthropy.
