Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
The Pulmonary and Critical Care Division at Weill Cornell Medical College is seeking physician scientists and clinical educators, at the Instructor and Assistant Professor levels, with an established record of success in clinical or basic research and an interest in clinical medicine in the intensive care unit, to join the faculty in our division.
The successful candidates will be based at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical College, and will work in a consortium of ICUs that are part of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Clinical activity may also involve both inpatient and outpatient pulmonary medicine, and the opportunity to follow ICU patients in the outpatient setting, following discharge from the hospital. Non-clinical time will be spent doing investigation, either clinical or basic, with support of the candidate toward a goal of independent research funding, or other academic pursuits. In addition, there will be an opportunity to teach medical students and trainees in ACGME–certified programs in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. The successful candidates must have an MD or equivalent degree, qualify for a NY medical license and be board certified in both Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.
The positions come with competitive salary and benefits, and an opportunity to be part of a growing and dynamic clinical and research group.
