The Wayne State University School of Medicine (WSU SOM) Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care and Sleep Medicine (PCCSM) seek a faculty member at the Assistant/Associate Professor level (rank and salary determined by qualifications and experience of successful candidate) on the clinical-educator track. The PCCSM program is a collaborative effort between Wayne Health (WH) and WSU SOM. As a member of WH, the physician will participate in the clinical activities of the division including rounding on the MICU and inpatient consult rotations and staffing outpatient clinics. As a faculty member of WSU SOM, research opportunities will be available through the Department of Internal Medicine and the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching medical students, residents and PCCM fellows. Areas of specific interest include, but are not limited to, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension and sarcoidosis/interstitial lung disease.
