The Pathology Department at Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare and its professional pathology group Memphis Pathology Group is accepting applications for a clinically focused Transfusion Medicine pathologist. Communication skills, clinical acumen, and teamwork are highly valued essential attributes. The successful candidate will be board certified in AP/CP by the American Board of Pathology, will have completed a fellowship in Transfusion Medicine and will be board certified/board eligible in Transfusion Medicine. Academic rank in the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) will be commensurate with experience. Candidates with experience and current fellows are encouraged to apply. Transfusion Medicine is standardized at all adult sites in the Methodist Healthcare system and the position offers an opportunity for rapid professional growth. Candidates with expertise in other areas of AP or CP will be looked upon favorably. The successful candidate will serve the 1000+ bed Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare System including the flagship University Hospital located in the heart of the Memphis Medical District. UTHSC Pathology is rapidly growing and consists of divisions of Anatomic, Clinical, Translational and Experimental Pathology.
