The Ohio State University College of Dentistry’s Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology invites applications for a full-time assistant or associate professor with specialty training in oral and maxillofacial radiology.
The faculty member in this position will provide didactic education and clinical instruction in oral and maxillofacial radiology to students in the college’s pre- and post-doctoral dental programs and the dental hygiene program. Other responsibilities will include participation in and strategic expansion of current CBCT imaging and diagnostic services provided by the college’s affiliated intramural Dental Faculty Practice. Candidates will be expected to engage in funded research within the college and across other
health science units at The Ohio State University and demonstrate high- quality scholarly work, including presentations at professional meetings and publications of basic or clinical research.

The College is completing a $95 million expansion to its existing facility. As a central component of the new facility is a fully equipped oral and maxillofacial radiology clinic designed to serve as the primary training site for an advanced education program in oral and maxillofacial radiology.

Qualified candidates must possess a DDS/DMD degree or international equivalent; a certificate from a CODA-accredited advanced education program in oral and maxillofacial radiology; and board certification/eligibility by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master of Science or PhD degree. Applicants must also possess the qualifications to be eligible for a regular or limited dental teaching license in the State of Ohio.
