The University of Washington Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine and Northwest Hospital are recruiting a full-time general cardiologist to be primarily based at Northwest Hospital (NWH) in the clinical track at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Professor level.  NWH is a community-based UW hospital that offers comprehensive cardiovascular services.  This is a 12-month, annual appointment.   Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to patient care with interests in general, noninvasive cardiology. Candidates with subspecialty interests in heart failure, echo and nuclear imaging are encouraged to apply.  Successful candidates will have a willingness to grow our highly regarded inpatient and outpatient practice.  This position allows individuals to take advantage of the outstanding opportunities that exist for collaboration at the University of Washington, as well as opportunities to be involved in medical education.  Applicants must have an MD degree and be board certified/eligible in cardiovascular diseases, or foreign equivalents. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
