Med/Surg
nurses are the master coordinators of the unit, juggling care for their patients
while keeping the entire health care team on the same page. They have
high-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and are able to
stay calm under pressure.

About this unit:

• 30-bed
  Adult Internal Medicine Unit
• Great
  experience for RNs that want to care for Internal Medicine patients with sickle
  cell, cellulitis, COPD, CHF exacerbation & electrolyte imbalance
• Amazing
  team work throughout all levels - Physicians, Leadership, RNs, PCTs

Responsibilities:

• The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who assumes
  responsibility and accountability for the delivery and management of
  patient care. S/he utilizes the nursing process, the healthcare
  environment, and current technology to provide a climate which optimizes
  patient care and staff development.

Qualifications

• Graduation
  from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current
  Louisiana or Compact RN license required
• Current
  BLS
• Excellent oral/written communication,
  interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills required
